The vast plains of Iceland have been clouded with mystery since its discovery over a thousand years ago. The first and only Icelandic cirus, the Sirkus Islands, share the same, almost inconceivable vibe of the country they roam and entertain. Over a timespan of more than 2 years I accompanied its artists in their natural surroundings: in private, on stage and in between. The Australian Lee Nelson, who founded the circus, has taken on an incredible journey. It was a great pleasure finding this hidden gem in the Atlantic.
