Garden of lost Dreams

PublishedI in the 1970s: „Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo“ is a book telling the story of young children. Heroin addicts selling their bodies to finance their addicttion around Berlins famous Tiergarten. Today, the children remain, the drug remains, and so does the prostitution. The social context however, has changed. Refugees, mainly from Afghanistan and Iran, roam the gravel paths of the park. Without any legal protection they are lost in a  foreign place. Their lives belong to the streets, who's cold and hard gravel keeps them in a tight grip. But there is hope. There is always hope. This ongoing collaboration between Charlotte Schmitz and I tells a story of which the end has not been written yet.
